October Manager's Message

As we say goodbye to summer, I'd like to take a moment to update you on what we have planned for the fall season:

  • Based on your overwhelming feedback, we have gone back to specific owner days. We will be having 2 this month- Monday, October 9th and Saturday, October 28th. In addition, any owner who spends more than $500 per month will receive an additional owner day where you can come in any day of your choosing.
  • We will have a booth at the International Festival this Saturday. Please stop by to say hello.
  • We will be participating in the Hub City Empty Bowls fundraiser on October 28th. Come by the Chapman Cultural Center and try some delicious local soup offerings while helping feed the hungry.
  • We will be offering a full Thanksgiving dinner, including a fresh, all-natural turkey. Come on by on November 4th when we will be cooking all of our Thanksgiving offerings for you to try. We will begin taking orders that day as well.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to invite you to stop by the Co-op and see the many changes we have made in the past month. From a vastly increased produce selection to a meat case featuring all-natural beef, pork, chicken, and fish to our new artisanal cheese section, we are just beginning to improve the quality of your shopping experience. As always, I want to hear your feedback. Please don't hesitate to ask for me when you're in the store or email me at

Thank you for your continued involvement at Hub City Co-op.
