November Manager's Message

Greetings Hub City Members,

We have had a busy couple of weeks participating in local events and preparing for the holiday season. I was able to meet many members at our booth during the International Festival at Barnet Park. Thank you for your kind words and support. We also recently participated in Empty Bowls at the Chapman Center, which was an outstanding success. We went through over 14 gallons of Thai Butternut Bisque and received rave reviews from everyone who tried our soup. We also received very favorable media coverage - both by WSPA Channel 7 and the Herald-Journal. Most importantly though, we were able to do our part in helping Total Ministries generate enough support so that they can continue their mission of feeding those less fortunate in Spartanburg.

We are continuing the changes inside the store as well, with an expanded produce line, more local vendors, increased offerings on our hot bar and more seating for dining indoors. Thank you for your input and suggestions the past few weeks. Your feedback is very important to me.

Don't forget that this Saturday, November 4th is Taste of the Holidays. We will be sampling many seasonal items including our turkey dinner with fresh, all-natural turkeys from Tanglewood Farms in North Carolina. Along with the turkey we will have organic gravy, organic, stuffing, organic cranberry relish, organic green beans and organic fingerling potatoes for everyone to try. Please stop on by, see us and order your turkey or turkey dinner for Thanksgiving.

Thanks for your support and I hope to see you soon,
